Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    3 c. grated carrots
    3 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
    2 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients, including carrots, together.
    Stir in eggs, oil, vanilla and pineapple.
    Add nuts.
    Beat on medium speed.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place batter into 3 greased and floured cake pans.
    Bake 30 minutes or until center is done. Cool.
    Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
