Dad Bernath'S Paper Bag Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 unbaked pastry shell
3 or 4 large apples
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. or 1 stick oleo or margarine
Preparation

Peel apples and cut into bite-size pieces (about 7 cups). Place in bowl.
To make filling, combine 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Mix well and sprinkle over apples.
Toss apples to coat well.
Spoon mixture into pastry shell; drizzle with lemon juice.
To make topping, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup flour in a small bowl.
Cut in oleo.
Sprinkle over apples.
