Bavarian Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cube steaks
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 envelope mushroom gravy mix
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. brown sugar
    2 c. coarsely shredded cabbage
    2 medium potatoes, cubed
Preparation
    Quickly brown steaks in hot oil.
    Add onion, cook 3 minutes or until almost tender.
    Combine gravy mix, vinegar, brown sugar and 1 cup water.
    Pour over steaks.
    Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
