Marinated Veggies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Shoe Peg corn
    1 can (small) peas
    1 can French-cut green beans
    1 can garbanzo beans
    1 large red onion, chopped
    pimentos as desired
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 can water chestnuts
Preparation
    Mix all vegetables together.
    Mix and bring to a boil all liquids; pour over vegetables.
    Marinate at least 8 hours.
