Baked Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage
1/2 c. boiling salted water
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. breadcrumbs
Preparation

Shred cabbage very fine and cook 9 minutes in boiling, salted water.
Remove cabbage; drain well and place in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Melt butter in saucepan; stir in flour and salt until smooth.
Add milk gradually.
Continue stirring until moisture thickens.
Pour this sauce over cabbage and sprinkle breadcrumbs over top.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until crumbs are brown.
Makes 6 servings.
