Kuwaiti Fish Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    white fish
    2 c. chopped herbs (coriander and/or dill)
    1 can tomato paste
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1/2 tsp. ground coriander
    2 onions, chopped
    oil
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    salt
    several black dried lemons (if available)
    1/2 tsp. cardamon (ground)
Preparation
    Fry onions in the bottom of a pan.
    Place fish on top of the fried onions.
    Dust fish with turmeric, coriander and cardamon. Fry until onions are brown.
    Add herbs, salt, pepper, dried lemons and tomato paste.
    Bring to a boil.
    Simmer at least 20 minutes.
