Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. instant pudding (vanilla)
    2 bananas, sliced separately
    coconut or pecans or both
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (16 oz.) container nondairy whipped topping
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Make cake mix into two 9-inch layers and cool. Place 1 layer in bottom of punch bowl. Layer 1/2 each cherry pie filling, pudding, pineapple, banana (one) and whipped topping. Repeat layers and garnish with coconut and/or pecans and cherries.
