Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. Canadian flour (if not available, use all-purpose)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    dash of sugar (1 Tbsp.)
    1 1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients, add shortening, blend into flour mixture. Add milk.
    Mix into ball.
    Flour board and pat ball out with roller, cut into biscuits.
    Bake for 10 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    (For strawberry shortcake, add 1/2 cup sugar and a dash of nutmeg.)
