Chocolate Nut Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until smooth.
Combine dry ingredients and stir into batter.
Fold in half of nuts and spread into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Sprinkle rest of nuts on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool and cut in squares.
