Green Chilies And Hominy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can yellow hominy, drained
    1 can red or black beans
    2 cans whole green chilies
    1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
    2 (15 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    1 clove garlic, mashed
    2 tsp. ground cumin
Preparation
    Rinse and drain beans.
    Rinse and cut each chili into three large pieces.
    Saute in small amount of water, onion and garlic. Put into crock-pot or heavy stew pot together with remaining ingredients.
    When using crock-pot, allow 4 hours on high or all day on low.
    For stew pot, allow 3 hours on low.
