Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2 oz. red food coloring
1 c. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add the eggs.
Make paste with cocoa and vinegar.
Add to butter mixture.
Beat until fluffy. Sift the flour, salt and soda together.
Add coloring to milk. Add, alternating with flour, to butter mixture.
Pour in three 9-inch pans, greased and floured.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
When done, cool on rack before removing.
