Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 10) can apples (packed in water)
    6 c. sugar
    3 lemons (juice)
    3/4 c. flour
    3 sticks butter
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    a dash of salt
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix sugar, salt, flour and nutmeg; set aside in a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 3-inch pan.
    Mix apples, lemon juice and butter.
    Mix in dry mixture.
    Add water and crust.
    Serves 20 to 25.
