Russian Macaroni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    2 c. cottage cheese
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 small red onion, thinly sliced
    2 chopped scallions
    1 green pepper, chopped and sauteed in butter
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 carrot, shredded
    1 tsp. caraway seed
    cooked macaroni (2 c. before cooking; for color use vegetable rotini)
Preparation
    Combine all the ingredients.
    Cook covered for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serve topped with chopped tomatoes and basil.
