Nut Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    1 lb. lard
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    pinch of salt
    1 c. milk
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 lb. prunes
    spices
    2 or 3 lb. walnuts
    sugar
    water
Preparation
    Sift flour, sprinkle yeast and salt; add lard.
    Add milk and eggs.
    Mix together well with hands.
    Knead slowly for 5 minutes; kneading makes them flaky.
    Shape dough into 4 balls and wrap in damp cloth.
    Let stand in refrigerator at least 1 1/2 hours.
    Take one ball at a time and roll (on sugar) to 1/8 inch thickness.
    Cut dough into 2 inch squares.
    Put a large teaspoonful of mixture on each square and pinch opposite corners together over filling. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes or until brown.
