Indian Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 5 qt. pails full green tomatoes
    2 red or 3 green peppers
    5 c. vinegar
    4 Tbsp. mustard seed
    8 good size onions
    4 Tbsp. salt
    4 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Run vegetables through food chopper.
    Place in a large bowl or container.
    Mix in salt and let stand overnight.
    Next day, place in a large canner or kettle.
    Add vinegar, sugar, mustard seed and celery seed.
    Mix and cook until vegetables are tender.
    Pack in canning jars and seal.
    Hot water bath for 5 minutes.
