Church Windows - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. (1 stick) soft butter
1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 (10.5 oz.) bag multi-colored mini marshmallows
1 c. flaked coconut, divided
Preparation

In large saucepan, melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat; stir in vanilla and walnuts.
Cool 15 minutes but do not let it harden.
Fold in marshmallows and stir until well coated. Spoon half of mixture lengthwise down center of 12-inch piece of wax paper.
Shape into 12 x 2-inch log and place at one end of wax paper.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup coconut over remainder of wax paper. Roll log over coconut evenly coating outside of log.
Wrap firmly in wax paper folding edges firmly.
Repeat other half until firm for 2 hours or overnight.
Unwrap and cut into 1/4-inch slices. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
