Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    eggs
    qt. milk
    flour
    cracker meal
Preparation
    Slice onions 1/4-inch thick and separate into rings.
    Beat the eggs into the milk.
    Dip rings first into milk, then the flour, then back into the milk, then into the cracker meal.
    Freeze one layer at a time on a cookie sheet.
    Separate the layers with wax paper.
    Fry them in hot shortening while they are still frozen.
