Cherry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. butter
    pinch of salt
    flour to make like cake
    1 c. sour cherries
    2 c. boiling water or cherry juice
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Make a batter of 1/2 cup sugar, milk, baking powder, butter, salt and flour.
    Put in a baking dish.
    Pour cherries over top, then boiling water or juice.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
