Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 large mushrooms
3 Tbsp. butter
1 small onion, chopped
1 c. fine, soft breadcrumbs
1/2 c. crumbled cooked bacon
2 Tbsp. cream or sherry (approximately)
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
marjoram, rosemary and oregano to taste
Preparation

Remove and chop mushroom stems.
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter and add onion and chopped stems.
Cook 2 minutes. Add crumbs, bacon, seasonings and enough cream or sherry to moisten.
Place mushroom caps on baking sheet, cap side up, and brush with some of the melted remaining butter.
Broil about 2 minutes.
Turn over; stuff with filling and brush with butter again and broil about 3 or 4 minutes.
