Italian Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. Italian sausage (hot)
    1 onion, diced
    2 green peppers, diced
    4 c. beef/chicken broth
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 tsp. parsley
    2 tsp. oregano
    2 tsp. basil
    28 oz. crushed tomatoes
Preparation
    Brown sausage; add onion and peppers and saute.
    Add broth, garlic, parsley, oregano, basil and tomatoes.
    Simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Add cooked pasta and serve with grated cheese.
