Unstuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. lean ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    small head cabbage
    1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. distilled white vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook beef and onions until beef is lightly browned.
    Core and cut cabbage into 1-inch strips.
    Stir in cabbage.
    Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage wilts.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 8 to 10 minutes until cabbage is tender. Serve with rice.
