Cheesy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    1 small onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    3 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1 1/2 c. herb seasoning stuffing
Preparation
    Cook potatoes until tender.
    Cool and cut into strips. Combine 1/4 cup butter and next 5 ingredients.
    Gently stir in potatoes and cheese.
    Spoon into lightly greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Combine 3 tablespoons of butter and stuffing mix. Sprinkle over potato mixture.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
