Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, sliced thinly
    1/2 c. bell pepper, diced
    1/2 c. celery, diced
    1/2 c. green onions, chopped or 1/4 c. diced onions
    1 c. LeSueur peas, drained
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In small bowl, mix mayonnaise and sugar until sugar melts. Cover and seal salad with mixture.
    Refrigerate 2 hours.
    Best if served next day.
