Carrot Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. fresh carrots
1/4 c. minced onion
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter or oleo
1/3 c. Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. parsley or parsley flakes
1/4 c. crushed corn flakes
2 Tbsp. melted butter or oleo
Preparation

Simmer thinly
sliced carrots until tender; drain.
Melt butter; stir in flour, then add milk, stirring constantly until sauce is thickened.
Remove from heat and add grated cheese and parsley.
Add carrots.
Place in a quart casserole or baking dish, greased.
Mix melted butter and corn flakes and sprinkle over the top.
If you are using glass, bake at 350\u00b0
for 50 minutes. Otherwise, bake at 375\u00b0.
