Taco Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    3/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    8 hamburger buns, split and toasted
    2 c. shredded lettuce
    1 c. shredded American cheese
Preparation
    In skillet, brown ground beef; drain off fat.
    Stir in undrained tomatoes, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, sugar and dry mustard.
    Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, until thickened, 15 to 20 minutes.
    Spoon meat mixture onto toasted buns.
    Sprinkle each of the burgers with lettuce and cheese.
    Makes 8 sandwiches.
