Oatmeal Toll House Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. hot water
1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. nuts
2 pkg. chocolate bits
2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix sugars and shortening.
Add eggs.
Dissolve soda in hot water.
Sprinkle
a little flour over nuts and chocolate bits. Add rest of ingredients.
Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0.
