Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. flank steak
    1 chopped medium onion
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 pkg. McCormick/Schilling brown gravy mix
    1 1/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 large green bell peppers
    1 large tomato
    cooked rice
Preparation
    Thinly slice flank steak, diagonally.
    Brown with the onion in the oil.
    Stir in the mixture of gravy mix, water and soy sauce. Stir until thickened.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Add bell peppers, cut in thin strips, and the tomato, cut in wedges.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
