Butterscotch Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    12 oz. butterscotch morsels, melted
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Add flavoring, nuts and morsels.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0. Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and place foil over top of pan and bake 15 more minutes.
    Cool on rack in pan 10 to 15 minutes, then invert onto serving plate.
