Stack Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1 c. molasses
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
flour (enough to make stiff dough)
2 cans applesauce*

Preparation

*Add enough sugar and allspice to suit your taste for between layers.
