Sausage And Bread Crumb Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. mild sausage
    1 small onion
    1 stalk celery with leaves, chopped
    1/3 to 1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning or sage
    1/2 tsp. salt
    black pepper to taste
    5 c. bread crumbs
    water
    milk
    giblet broth (optional)
Preparation
    Crumble sausage meat and brown in skillet. Remove sausage and saute onion and celery in part of fat and butter or margarine. Combine the seasonings and bread crumbs.
    Toss together with onion mixture and sausage.
    If a moist dressing is desired, add enough liquid to moisten crumbs.
