Lemon Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening, butter or oleo
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs.
Sift flour before measuring.
Add salt and baking powder; sift again.
Add flour and milk to creamed mixture, alternately.
When mixture becomes smooth, add vanilla.
Pour into cake pans and bake at 350\u00b0.
