Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    2 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Melt shortening in cast-iron skillet.
    Mix corn meal, flour, egg and milk all together.
    Add to hot skillet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
