Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. cooked chopped prunes
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. cake flour
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Blend sugar and Wesson oil.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add vanilla, flour, spices and salt.
    Add soda to buttermilk and add gradually to first mixture.
    Add prunes while still using mixer. Stir in nuts by hand with wooden spoon.
    Bake in broiler pan at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
