Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    2 cakes yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. lukewarm water
    2 1/3 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 tsp. sugar
    3 tsp. shortening
Preparation
    Heat buttermilk until warm. Add remaining ingredients. Mix and knead until spongy. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown.
