Heath Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    1 c. blanched slivered almonds
    3 Hershey bars
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in cast-iron skillet.
    Stir constantly with wooden spoon 10 to 12 minutes until thick and bubbly (it smells burnt) and golden brown.
    Spread onto buttered cookie sheet; spread thin.
    Place 3 Hershey bars on top of hot candy. Spread to edges of candy and let cool and harden.
    Break into pieces when cooled.
