Hobo Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. thinly sliced onion
1 c. coarsely chopped green pepper
1/4 c. olive oil
2 lb. ground beef chuck
1 (1 lb.) can red kidney beans
1 Tbsp. steak sauce
1 (1 lb.) can whole-kernel corn, drained
1 (32 oz.) can Italian-style tomatoes
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
dried basil to taste
dry mustard to taste
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

In a large skillet, cook onion and green pepper in oil until onion is golden. Add beef and brown, stirring with fork to break up meat until cooked.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
