Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage links (mild or hot)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 can (14 oz.) whole tomatoes, crushed with juice
    2 cans beef broth
    1 can Great Northern beans, undrained
    3 medium carrots, sliced
    2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
    1/2 tsp. basil
    2 small zucchini, sliced
    1/2 c. shell macaroni
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In covered skillet, cook sausage links in 1/2 cup water for 5 minutes.
    Drain off water.
    Remove cover and brown sausage, turning frequently until cooked through.
    Add oil, if necessary.
    Remove sausages from pan and slice.
