Holiday Sausage Swirls - cooking recipe

1 lb. sausage
2 (8 oz.) cans crescent rolls
sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Separate crescent rolls into rectangles.
Spread with a thin layer of uncooked sausage.
Top each rectangle with 2 tablespoons sharp Cheddar cheese.
Roll (from short end).
Chill until firm.
Thinly slice each roll. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve hot.
Makes 80 swirls.
