Pineapple Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1/4 c. sugar
 
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. pineapple juice
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. lemon peel
Preparation
- 
                            In medium saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch and salt.
 
Slowly stir in pineapple juice, then add remaining ingredients.
Over low heat, heat mixture to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil 1 minute, until smooth and thickened.
Cool.
Fills a 2-layer cake.
