Baked Lemon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar, divided
    5 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine 1/3 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, beat egg yolks, add milk, lemon juice, butter and lemon peel. Add to the dry ingredients and mix well. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add remaining sugar, beating until stiff peaks form, fold into lemon mixture. Pour into lightly greased 1 1/2 qt baking dish. Place in a large baking pan, add 1-inch of hot water to large pan. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm or chilled.
