Marinated Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cabbage
    4 oz. jar pimentos
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    2 green peppers
    2 medium onions
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Grate or chop vegetables.
    Then in a saucepan, combine vinegar, water and sugar.
    Heat, stirring until mixture comes to a boil and sugar is dissolved.
    Cool and pour over cabbage mixture. Let stand 24 hours in refrigerator.
    Can be stored in refrigerator for several days.
