Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. stew beef (1 in. cubes)
3/4 c. carrots, peeled and sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
2 onions, sliced
2 tsp. sugar
3 or 4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 Tbsp. tapioca
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
Preparation

Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
Combine the beef carrots, celery, onions, sugar, potatoes, tapioca and tomato juice.
Place the beef mixture in a covered greased casserole and bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
