Cinnamon Nut Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. milk
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream
    sugar and butter.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk to shortening and sugar.
    Place this in a greased pan.
    Bring brown sugar,
    water and butter to a boil. Pour this over first mixture and sprinkle nuts over all.
    Bake 45 minutes (oblong pan) at 350\u00b0.
    May be served warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream.
