Mana Pua - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast, dry
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. salad oil (to coat hands when making balls)
Preparation
    Mix yeast in warm water.
    Mix salt and sugar together; add to yeast.
    Add flour.
    Mix with hands; knead and put into bowl. Cover with cloth and leave 2 hours.
    Punch down; cover and let rise again, 30 minutes.
    Oil hands and make 2 inch balls.
    Flatten in palms of hands and fill with about 1 Tbsp. filling.
    Pull dough over filling and close by pinching and twisting edges together. Place on 3 X 3 inch piece wax paper; pinched edge down.
    Grease rack of steamer.
    Pull small cloth on top cover of steamer to collect water.
    Steam for 40 minutes or longer.
