Strawberry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. strawberry extract
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 qt. strawberries
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar thoroughly together; add egg (well beaten), strawberry extract, milk, sifted flour with powder and salt.
    Beat with a wooden spoon for 3 minutes.
    Turn into a large, well-greased mold.
    Cover and steam steadily for 3 hours. Turn out and serve with crushed strawberries and whipped cream. Other fruits may be used in place of strawberries.
