Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can chopped green chilies (undrained)
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can pinto beans
    1 can white hominy
    3 cans stewed tomatoes
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 pkg. Ranch-style dressing mix
    1 1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown meat and onions. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil for 4 to 5 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Serve with Cheddar cheese, chopped green onions and crushed tortilla chips on top. Freezes well.
