Never-Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 3/4 c. shortening
Preparation

Sift flour, sugar and salt into a large bowl.
Beat the egg and combine with vinegar and water.
Cut in shortening and sprinkle with egg and vinegar, then mix all ingredients together.
With dough, form a ball.
Wrap in wax paper and chill for 30 minutes before using.
This dough can be kept in refrigerator for up to a week.
Or, can divide into 4 parts (1 part makes 1 pie).
Wrap each securely and freeze until ready to use.
Makes 4 (9-inch) pie shells.
