Ingredients

1/2 lb. margarine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. sat
approximately 3/4 c. raspberry, apricot or other preserves
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Thoroughly blend margarine, softened cream cheese and sugar. Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix well.
Knead to form stiff dough.
Roll to 1/4-inch thickness on well-floured board.
Cut into 2-inch squares.
Place 1/2 teaspoon preserves in center; press opposite corners together.
Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen.
