English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. real butter (not margarine)
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/4 tsp. oil
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Combine butter and sugar.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture comes to a full boil.
    After boiling begins, try not to stir unless it starts to burn.
    When temperature gets around 290\u00b0, turn heat down to medium-low.
    Boil until it reaches 306\u00b0.
