French String Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 strip bacon
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 (1 lb.) cans French-style green beans
    1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
    1/4 c. water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon crisp.
    Drain on paper towel and crumble.
    Saute onion in drippings.
    Drain beans; add to onions.
    Add crumbled bacon and the chili sauce.
    Add the water, salt and pepper. Simmer until done.
    The longer you simmer, the better the flavor. Serves 8 to 10.
